i fall asleep

light gets darker

mind gets darker

i fall in a fretful sleep

i feel alone

in my dreams i’m alone

i want to run

but i can’t move

i want to shout

but i can’t speak

i want to hear

but i am deaf

i wake up

it’s 2 am
